Susan Shofer always had a great relationship with her two children. But as she was going through her divorce, one of her children started to hate her — for no reason at all.
At first, Susan was totally confused. “My child didn’t want to be with me,” she says. “And the reasons were miniscule.” But after doing research, she realized that her kids were being subjected to parental alienation.
It’s a phenomenon that happens frequently in divorces from sociopaths, who often want to not only end a marriage, but crush their former partner. “What better way for your ex to go after you than to take your children from you?” Susan says.
After her personal experience, Susan, a licensed private investigator, turned her attention towards helping people deal with contentious divorces. She is author of the Divorce Recovery Ladder and hosts a Divorce Recovery Podcast program. A topic that she spends a lot of time on is parental alienation.
If you suspect that your ex is badmouthing you and subjecting your kids to parental alienation, Susan will be offering solid advice in her upcoming webinar. For more information, click the link below.
