Pro football player Will Allen accused of Ponzi scheme

Financial predators come from all walks of life. And so do their victims.

Will Allen, who played cornerback for the New York Giants, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, has been charged with operating a $31 million Ponzi scheme that supposedly loaned money to professional athletes.

Allen and his partner, Susan Daub, allegedly used money from investors to pay for charges at pawn shops, casinos and nightclubs.
