Love Fraud unflinchingly details the mental, physical and emotional trauma suffered by its author in falling for a conscienceless user who viewed her, a beautiful and successful woman, as prey. Should readers attempt to downplay one incident, dozens more reinforce a horrible theme: Inhuman usury. The features of a selfish predator upon his heartbroken partner convinced me, (not that I need convincing) that it is we who must take charge because they never will. But there’s an even stronger theme : Author, Donna Anderson shares her personal and detailed map to the genuine joy and happiness she achieved in her life. This is a compelling story of hope. As a secular humanist who has no idea about the notion of god, or this book’s claim that individuals choose their destinies or that traumas from past lives affect our present lives, I’d still recommend this educational read to secular humanists or atheists because of the convincing detail it provides – and the unstoppable hope. Admirably written, with love, this story guides readers to the happiness that awaits.
