My teenager is a sociopath

Hi all, I’m new here. I’ve been free of my sociopath ex-husband for several years (or as free as I can be while he has regular visitation with our kids) and have known for a few years that one of our kids – who is now 16 – is also a sociopath.

I’ve tried different ways to get him help, but of course he sees no need. He has not ever been violent, but has shoplifted once -no empathy, no remorse, no conscience. I’m reading The Sociopath Next Door and it describes him perfectly. The younger sibling is having serious emotional and social problems that there’s no solution to, since there’s no way for them to get away from the sociopath father and older brother.

Is there anyone else here in this boat?
