      Hi everybody,
I wanted to give a big thumbs up for Donna’s book called “ Seduced by a Sociopath “. I’m still reading it and in the middle of it, but I wanted to say that it is really one of the very best books out there about sociopaths and what to watch out for. I’ve been learning things that I didn’t know before which is very satisfying even though I am not currently in an abusive relationship. The reason is that it feels good to understand something about a situation that was left hanging without real answers. One example was that she wrote about the concept called “ the grand gesture “. This was a revelation to me because in the past my ex did something, and looking back I could never understand what it was all about or what it meant – but after Donna explained it, then I was able to have an “ ah ha “ moment and put it to rest saying to myself, “ oh – that was a grand gesture “. It really does make a difference to my peace of mind. Anyway, she goes into so many subjects with concise explanations and has included questions from bloggers that she answers – I love that kind of question/response when it is included in a book. I also liked the explanation about testosterone and oxytocin and how they relate to the whole dynamic of how we get caught up in the whole sociopathic scenario. I want to encourage everybody to check out this book, and it is so affordable on Amazon kindle as well as in book form. Thanks so much Donna !
      Blessings to all

Polestar – thank you so much for your kind words! My goal was to pack a lot of information into an easy-to-read format. I hope it’s working!

Haha yeah my ex husband is king of the grand gesture. He flooded me with extravagant gifts like $500 bouquets of flowers, large boxes of expensive chocolates, Chanel bags and diamond jewelry.

I shudder to think of the amount of our marital funds that he subsequently spent on love bombing all his affairs.

In my naivite of course I thought the gifts meant that he truly loved me. But sadly it was just a facade, a manipulation technique to control me.
