A Texas police chief accused of cheating on his wife with two women, neither of whom apparently knew about the other, resigned after he was arrested on suspicion of faking a marriage annulment he showed to one of the girlfriends, officials said.
He lied to me and presented me with fake annulment documents when I found out he was married,” Steinmetz wrote. “I also found out about a 2nd girlfriend … last night. He has lied to us, our children, and asked us both to marry him.”

Wow, sept4 what a story! Thankful that the city responded and hopefully, he will have strong consequences to face.
It gives us all credence that we are not the only victims out there and sociopaths/narcissists are everywhere. Our duty as we recover is to be able to recognize them and build a strong repellent wall around ourselves so we are not victimized ever again!
I feel that these predators lack a solid sense of themselves and they are really very insecure needing their ego boosted at every turn of the corner. Unfortunately, they would never agree, instead they present as very confident, arrogant SOB’s.
