So I met a guy online on a dating site the other night, we online chatted for a bit, then texted for a bit,
then he rang me last night. He sounded drunk, but I wasn’t sure so I said nothing. He then said he had to shower and I said I had to go to the store and would ring him when I came home.

I rang him, no answer, so I left a message. no reply.

      No sweat, I thought.

This morning he texted me and said “Sorry, my battery was flat”.

Sorry, I don’t buy that, It would take you 5 minutes to plug your phone in and charge it a little to let me know it was flat.

I get a call from him this evening.

“Yeah I was a little tipsy when I rang you last night.”

My reply : ” I don’t appreciate the fact that you rang me on our first phone call tipsy, I deserve better than that.”

“Yeah but I was nervous because I was ringing you. And I’m a little tipsy now too, but being
tipsy is better than being drunk”

Hello… does this sound familiar to anyone? Projection for dessert anyone??

My reply: “I was nervous too, but I didn’t feel the need to get tipsy to talk to you, it’s
a lack of respect. And I don’t have a lot of time for alcohol, my ex was an alcoholic.”

“Are you calling me an Alcoholic?” (he didnt like that)

My reply: “No, I said my ex was an alcoholic.”

“Well, I just left an alcoholic too, they don’t have to be men, they can be women too,
and it was a woman, because I’m not gay.”

My reply: “I need some time and space to work out what my next step is here. So I’m going to go now.

      “Okay goodbye.”

And that ladies, is spotting a sociopath from 10 paces, I could smell it, I could sense it, and I saw him for what he was. And I closed the door on him before he could get inside my world.

Im sooo damn proud of myself!!!!!
