..writing out memory.. The very act of moving a pen uses the logic function of the brain whereby shifting your trauma over to logic where it can be consciously dealt with.

      It is available at amazon.

Hi SG – thanks for sharing about this book for everybody’s benefit. I wanted to mention that Cathy O’Brian validates the concept of No Contact that we are so familiar with in the psychological abuse healing community. She definitely states that the mind will not begin to heal until it feels safe to do so and is away from the abuse base. What I found particularly interesting ( as I mentioned in a post to one of the participants ) is that the mind has a mind of its own and will make decisions and take action without our being aware of it. An example is the word “ denial “ – though from my own perspective, it seems that people have given it a very bad connotation, but in reality, it is the mind’s protective function to not allow one to know something that would too much damage or overwhelm their mental capacity. Now that I think of it, sociopaths use their gaslighting technique in order to shut down a person’s mental awareness and ability to comprehend the abuse. So it is a prime way they gain control and another important reason that No Contact is so necessary. Anyway, thanks again for bringing the book to everybody’s attention.
      Blessings

Hi SG – In case you aren’t aware of it already, Kathy O’Brian has an amazing back story. She had written some books about it. They are : “ TRANCEformation of America – True life story of a mind control slave “ and “ Access Denied: for reasons of National Security “.
Her partner ( now deceased ), Mark Phillips rescued her and because he had been part of the US intelligence ( or something like that ) knew the techniques to deprogram people. So he taught them to Kathy and protected and supported her until she was able to be free of the mind control she had been put under. They are interspersed in her books ( or in Trance ) and then she wrote the PTSD book, so people could access the techniques without needing to wade through her personal story to get them. With everything else, it turned out to also be a beautiful love story between Kathy and Mark. They also became official US “ whistle blowers “, and had many speaking engagements together to inform people about the horrible mind control programs that are in existence.
      Blessings

Hi SG – I think I misled you when I mentioned the love story part. Though it was a love story in that Mark Phillips actually literally and physically rescued Kathy, the years of torture that she endured I don’t think I emphasized enough. She went through a mind control program in which they split her mind into compartments by the use of physical and mental torture. She was able to get her mind back and to be able to respond to Mark’s kindness and eventually to share love with him. So anyway, the sociopath does not have the sophisticated techniques that were used on Kathy, but many that the sociopath does use are reminiscent and similar. That is why I often recommend her PTSD book. Thanks for your interest.
      Blessings
