How to recognize and recover from the sociopaths – narcissists in your life › Forums › Dealing with sociopaths in court › Regret not taking sociopath ex husband to court over money
Hello I have posted about my issue before but it is still haunting me years later. I have enduring extreme regret about not taking my sociopath ex husband to court to fight for my financial rights.
At the time of divorce I was still so trauma bonded and emotionally beaten down that I was not strong enough to take him to court and fight over money. At the time I just wanted to back out of the marriage and be safe and focus on healing.
Now years later I regret not taking him to court to fight for my financial rights. My ex was severely psychologically and financially abusive. I understand that there is no recourse in court or with police as to psychological abuse. But there is recourse in court for financial abuse and I regret not pursuing it when I had the chance.
