Spath TalesEditor’s note: Lovefraud received the following story from a reader whom we’ll call Louann22. She was involved with a lying, cheating man who she now says, “wanted to psychologically destroy me.”

He faked being in love with me for a year. I found out so many things were lies. I eventually realised he was filming me through a camera that was attached to his phone. He would plant things in his room to watch my reaction, such as dirty underwear from other women.

He faked a future with me. I ended up selling my house and moving across the country, all the while he knew he was not genuine. I’m fairly certain he doesn’t actually have a job, but was using myself and other women to make pornography. I found out he has a collection of pornography he has made with a disgusting title about whores.

Sleeping with sex workers

I had an ectopic pregnancy rupture in a remote location and lost 2.6L of blood. His main focus was ensuring I didn’t stay pregnant. He pressured me covertly after my surgery by triangulating me with his roommate who he insisted propositioned him for sex. I’m pretty sure he was sleeping with sex workers while we were together. I almost hired a private detective at one point after he sent me text messages meant for another woman.

I did make a police report about the camera in his room – which I saw and he said was a “motion detector,” which I know was attached to his phone.

A woman went missing the night he was MIA for 12 hours with his phone off and I put his name forth to the police in the investigation. He had made some very disturbing comments about knowing how to sink a suitcase (he has a sailboat) and being like Dexter, also vile comments related to liking “eager” or “scared” p*ssy of the ethnic background to which this woman belonged.

Textbook psychopath

Eventually I realised he is very sadistic, he would laugh / smirk / smile when I would be breaking down crying. He’s a misogynist, alcoholic, sex addict. He does not have a single friend. He has no conscience and is a textbook psychopath.

I am an empathic individual who works as a primary health care provider. I think he wanted to try and psychologically destroy me.
