Defense attorneys for Jerry Sandusky, the former assistant football coach at Penn State who is accused of molesting 10 boys, may argue that the man suffers from histrionic personality disorder. So what is it? Lovefraud readers sent links to articles that explain:
What is histrionic personality disorder? on CNN.com.

I just saw the news about the adopted son. If Sandusky goes free after this news, there is something wrong with our entire legal system.
He might go free because the jury is sequestered and will not know about this turn of events until after they’ve reached their verdict.
They can go after him again and if that happens, he won’t get off.
Could somebody please explain trauma bonded to me? I’m not exactly sure what that is. Is it the same as Stockholm Syndrome?
G1S;
Forst, I am relieved at reading reports of the victims’ testimony — riveting, credible and there did not seem to be an attempt by the defense to directly challenge their testimony. If his wife Betty is his best defense, he has none.
Given Sandusky’s son came forward at the last minute, I am not sure if the DA will ask for more time to file additional charges, or wait and see what happens with these charges.
“Trauma bonding” is similar to the Stockholm Syndrome.
Matt Sandusky’s willingness to testify against Sandusky seems the likely cause for the abrupt end of the defense the other day. What’s confusing, BBE, is that they’re suggesting that the son wouldn’t testify unless the father did. Why? Why would the prosecution agree to something like that?

On another note, the jury is asking to listen again to testimony regarding what McQueary says he saw.

There is a link in the above entitled “Legal analysis: Sandusky’s attorney hits a home run in closing argument.” Shouldn’t that have been a “touch down”? Sorry.
As for that article
http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/06/21/12342887-analysis-sanduskys-attorney-makes-strong-comeback-in-closing-argument?lite
the legal analysis seems to have been done without the knowledge that Sandusky’s son was willing to testify against his father.
Maybe the prosecutor was thrown off his game with that knowledge, but wouldn’t that have made him feel more confident and assertive?
We’ll just have to wait and see how things turn out.
I think it’s a trick. False flag attack.
well, maybe not, but there’s no reason to take chances. If his son wanted to testify, he would have done so long before. I hope they wrap up the case and save the son for a rainy day.
lol. I guess that was a pun.

This ties into to something I previous said. Seems some of the traits shown in pedophiles many overlap sociopaths.
I think the son wanted his father on the stand to really nail him, knowing that the longer statements linger in public, the easier it is for them to be manipulated.
You know…I wondered from the very beginning when this case first broke if Sandusky had molested his own children. After all, he adopted almost all boys. That was a deliberate choice. I think they did adopt one girl? Anyway, it’s horrible…UGGHHH. Isn’t this the son whose kids Sandusky is not allowed to see? Or maybe he is allowed to see them now, I don’t know.
Louise, yes. In one of the articles that I read, it said that Matt Sandusky is divorced or separated, and his ex got an order stating Sandusky is not permitted to come near the grandchildren.
When they were married, the grandchildren were not permitted to go to the grandparents’ house for an overnight stay.
Blue Eyes, I read that article you posted. I wouldn’t say that pedeophiles deserve sympathy. I can see, based on what he said, why they might need support, help, and understanding, but sympathy (for me!) goes too far.
Did you catch that the author of that article said he knows “thousands” of pedeophiles?
GUILTY!! They found him guilty of 45 of the 48 counts! A minimum 60 year prison sentence.

Thank you, Pennsylvania!! That’s two for two today.
Hallelujah!!
There are two articles in the above link. The second one states that there are more investigations going on, more victims coming forward, and more charges likely involving other people.
Below is a list of all charges and how the jury found on them.
