Acting when you are traumatised sounds like an arduous task, but it takes a special person like you to act on your life, so that it doesn’t act on you instead (again!). During this self-love and healing practice acting is about starting to take charge of your life in every way. Following the principles learned from the past 17 days of practice, once you put yourself first and start your day with yourself first, you will very much look forward to your morning 25-minute power routine suggested in this practice.

Many of you have already made that important decision of getting enough rest for your recovery and waking up early enough, at 5am, to start your day with You first, refreshed and energised (watch WAKE UP). We all probably spend at least about 15 minutes on our self-care routines in the morning and grab a favourite drink. We then spend about 3 minutes to prepare for our 7-minute workout routine (watch WORK OUT). That’s about 25 minutes. We want to make up that morning self-love power hour that you can practice to make a habit and integrate into your day to live a happier and more fulfilled life.

This session suggests the 25-minute self-love morning action as follows. In the future sessions we will learn about two more 5-minute rituals to make it up for your morning power hour. To give you a hint, it will be 5-minutes of tuning in (TUNE IN, coming up) and 5 minutes of embracing (EMBRACE, coming up).

Here is what the 25 minutes of your morning power hour should be used on for the purposes of this Self-Love and Healing journey. It is spontaneous enough to give you the power to make decisions for that particular day each and every morning and organised enough to give you some structure.

  1. Write down each and every dream you have ever dreamed about that comes to your mind for 5 minutes every morning, without lifting your pen
  2. Write down 3 things you are passionate to achieve that day for 5 minutes
  3. Write down 3 things you are grateful for that morning for 5 minutes
  4. Write down 3 things you want to learn that day for 5 minutes
  5. Write down 3 things you wish to contribute during that day for 5 minutes

Here is the entire Self-Love and Healing video series – to start at the beginning, scroll to the bottom.
