A psychologist and university researcher is seeking people to participate in a survey on toxic and deceptive relationships. His study called, Understanding toxic breakups: Creating a recovery source.

The researcher is from Gitam University in India, which was inspired by the ideals of Mahatma Gandi. The research is being conducted in English. Here is the announcement.

Call for survey participants

Dear Lovefraud Community,

We are reaching out to gather vital insights on the reality of toxic and deceptive relationships. While this research focuses on the experiences of young adults, the wisdom of this community is invaluable in helping us understand these patterns.

We are seeing a significant rise in the prevalence of toxic relationships among young adults, dynamics that have the potential to fundamentally change the course of their lives. Our goal is to document these experiences to build better support resources and early-intervention tools for the growing youth population.

If you or anyone you know has faced a challenging, deceptive, or high-conflict breakup, please consider sharing your insights.

Who can participate: We are primarily looking for voices aged 18–30, but we welcome the perspectives of anyone who has navigated these dynamics.

  • Format: A strictly confidential and anonymous online survey.
  • Time: Approximately 8 minutes.

Your contribution helps ensure that the next generation has the tools they need to identify “love fraud” and find a path to safety.

To participate or share the study, please click here: Form

Thank you for your incredible bravery in sharing your story to help protect and guide others.

Research results will be shared

Once the research is complete, the results will be shared with the Lovefraud community. The goal is to help young people navigate these destructive involvements. Your help is appreciated!
