Hens is the BEE”S KNEES! 🙂
Yea that’s what that old man was doing when the bees attacked him and his wife—swarming. And they ARE aggressive when they are swarming.
Hens, it looks like the third one is going to hatch…I put the other two in their new home in the barn….with their light and food and water and all that (even warmed the water) and a thermometer inside to keep up with the temp in case the light goes out I can see from inside the house that they are not warm enough…. One is named Hens (or Henry if turns out to be a boy) and the other one is named Star (that name will fit for boy or girl) haven’t decided on a name for the 3rd one til it gets out of the shell and gets dry. BTW you can send the duck support check to PO box 1000, My address USA Hee hee Let’s see, half of 2 cents worth of feed—nah, just wait til the support check is more than the postage to mail it. LOL
I had a duck years ago….greatest pet ever!
He went camping with me, hiking and cruising on the beach.
He loved my parents swimming pool and he slept in the bathtub.
My ducks name was George.
George met his fate with a malmute……..
George was cool!!!!

Dang, I gave her an incubator and now she’s naming the kid’s after me and wanting child support. What’s next, duckamoany?
Hens, when you are a co-parent you are co-responsible for upkeep of the offspring until they turn 18….not my fault my eggs were fertile! LOL hee hee
Hens, don’t be bad and adopt the poor little ducks. Don’t you realize they need a nonpsychopathic father?
Come on, be responsable 😀 ~ ~~
hahaha you see even Oxy says your eggs are your responsability
Hey, #3 just popped out of the shell, and number 4 is pipping, so we are up to it looks like 4 out of 9 hatching….not too bad when you consider I hadn’t hatched any in 20 years, and the temp wasn’t all that regular for a while and varied between 82 and 105…it should be 99.5 but once I accidently unplugged it and another time for some reason it just went too high, but I am really pleased to have any hatch actually on this first trial. I have over 2 dozen ready to go in as soon as these come out so maybe in another 28 days I’ll have enough that it will make it worth your while to mail me the “duck support” check! LOL
I went out to the duck-u-bator to check on the two out there and they are doing fine…the temperature is nice and warm for them– 90s+ and they should start eating and drinking soon.
Having these ducks hatch reminds me that the adult ducks I have which are now 2 years old are the 3 survivors of the “duck deal” I did with my now X friend who screwed me over with our duck agreement for $56….LOL I ended up with ducks that cost $30+ each—ones I could have bought for $3 each—LOL and I think these that I have hatched so far will cost me about $10 each, which is still a bargain over the $30 each and what I thought was a “friendship” LOL
