I can say as someone who lived with a child molester for over a year, it is possible to have NO IDEA. They hide it really well. Even years later when I stumbled on his prison record online, I was in shock. I still am shocked. You can know something’s not quite right but not know what it is. This guy had two jobs, and we had a normal sex life (though he was on the selfish side). I still scratch my head wondering when he found the time to stalk and groom little kids, or why he would want to when he had a frequent sex life with a hot live-in girlfriend.
