I wrote an article not long ago about settling on a name for the personality disorder that we spend our time here talking about. I suggested using “sociopath” as a general term for exploitative people. Many of us have taken to shortening this term to “spath.”

Well, a Lovefraud reader “Justdreamin” informs us that “spath” is taken. She saw it on a flower pot, and sent us the photos.

It turns out that “spath” is a shortened version of “spathiphyllum,” which is the botanical name for the peace lilly, a common houseplant.

We might have to come up with a new name. If I were a beautiful peace lily, I wouldn’t want to share a name with the nasty predators.

    the moon hasnt been this close to earth for 28 years – I watched my favorite movie last nite “contact” with Jodie foster – i am gonna dance tomorrow nite when it is full….

    Moondance for me would ja? I’d dance in my altogether moon to moon but my neighbor has sensor lights and weiner dogs. If one don’t alert the neighborhood, the others will… darn this city livin.

    “If it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true.” LOL

    Like that Ray guy who is being tried here in this country for manslaughter when several people in his “religious” “spiritual” seminar died—he charged $10K each for his “enlightenment” sessions and faked this “American Indian Sweat lodge” thing and kept people there until some of them died….even though they wanted to leave. He was a charlatan and crook….

    Can’t see the moon here Hens, the clouds are too thick—but even so there is a lot of light outside….one of the neighbors was playing electric guitar though and I could hear it clear as a bell. Pretty good music too.

    Was 87 here today, can’t believe it being this hot this early! Little volunteer peach tree out behind my house has 3-4 blooms on it. Guess it came up from a seed I threw out.

    Great few days to get outside and work coming up though, no real rain predicted….I must be solar powered though, as getting out sure makes me feel better and more up! Wore gloves today though, my hands are too sore not to wear them now! LOL
