Psychopaths sometimes don’t  know enough about how the rest of the world thinks to tell a “good” lie. I saw the following article about North Korea’s soccer team and how they had been apparently caught in a doping scandal, but were claiming that it was really an herbal medication that made them test positive for steroids.

Just what will Kim Jong-Il make of all this? North Korea say medicine using musk deer glands caused five players to fail drug tests

The excuse given was that the team members had been struck by lightening and they had decided, heroically, to compete anyway. The steroids were accidentally taken with traditional Chinese medicines.

I have recently found other articles about the “stories” of the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-II, that made me laugh out loud. In one article, he supposedly played his first round of golf and scored a 38, including five holes-in-one.

One of the things I have noticed about many psychopaths, and others who frequently lie, is that their lies are so “off the wall” that no one over three years old would believe a word of them. They will “lie when the truth will fit better” is a saying I’ve heard all my life. This seems to be especially true with pathological liars and psychopaths.

Dr. Robert Hare, well-known psychopathy researcher, says that psychopaths have difficulty realizing that their lies are unbelievable, even when the evidence that they are untrue is literally in front of them. In some way, the two sides of their brains can’t connect the evidence in front of their eyes.

An example of this are the lies told by Casey Anthony when she led the police to the place she supposedly worked, even going to a cubical, when she knew that she didn’t work for that company. She also lied about  leaving her daughter with “Zanny the Nanny,” when such a person didn’t exist. Anthony even led the police to the door of the empty apartment with the police in tow.

Not all liars are psychopaths, but all psychopaths are liars. Liars signal that they are not to be trusted. But if you hear a lie that is so outrageous that it makes you laugh out loud, or have the feeling that the person telling it must be “crazy—”look out! You very well may be dealing with a psychopath.

    MamaGem:

That breaks my heart for you to have to give up your children, but I totally understand. You had to do it for your own sanity, your own life. They are toxic and you don’t need them, children or no children. That’s great you have your stepchildren? And a happy marriage!! Hugs to you.

    candy!!!!! 🙂
I am out watering MINE! hehehehe
TOMORROW is the BIG 3 month NC anniversary!
Let’s see if I can sneak through it without interruption.
So far, so good. 🙂 Perhaps it finally BELIEVES me!
STAY AWAY & LEAVE ME ALONE! Anyone want to place any bets? 🙂 I think Donna needs to do up those t shirts hens was talking about and then we heard about the refrigerator magnet idea!!! hahaha: LOVEFRAUD STORE. hehehehe

Accessorize ourselves a bit; wouldn’t that be cute?! ahahaha
Entertaining AND educational, all at the same time. 🙂

THESE ARE EVIL PEOPLE. The more I study and learn, the more I am convinced. Something just possesses their souls and they just turn vile and tainted. I am sorry for them but I am more sorry for myself. So much so that I am high-tailing it out of Dodge….just like Ox said once. 🙂

I don’t care anymore what happens to it. It is quickly becoming a faded memory to me. A nightmarish memory which I hope to tame and learn to control so that it doesn’t TARNISH my view and outlook on what life I have left.

I have been held hostage long enough for the sake of ‘love’. I refuse to give up my life for it. I have LOVE in my life with my children in this life. THAT is what real love is about. We have always been wonderful and good to one another on this journey and found it possible to be the sweetest of friends as well as relatives. THAT BOND I have to cling to and I use that as my ‘guide’ when I measure up what I want around me and what I do not. I never had a mother and father, in the normal sense. I never really knew what a ‘mom’ was or should be about, so I raised my children with the love upon my heart and that only. I had no patterns, as most children do. I became what I made myself. I chose to walk a different pathway than the way my childhood was dictating to me. Once again, I am choosing.

Yep, my rock garden needs some watering, for sure. 🙂

    (shalom my sweet shalom) xx

    Hey ya’ll.
Might be b/c I live in cowboy land. But if you want a break from carp, this might appeal. It’s my review that I sent my friend who has a 9 yr old daughter.

Hey Jeannie, I went to see a movie at the theater, first time in about 2 yrs. Morning before noon is $5, can not afford evening prices! I saw Cowboys and Aliens. It was very entertaining. A COWBOY movie! Really recommend it for a date with Mark. NOT, NO WAY, NO HOW a movie for Cassie. But MARK would like it as much as you. Nice eye candy showing a very chiseled Daniel Craig (whom I loved as the most recent James Bond.), and for Mark, Olivia was beautiful, and shown from the back so you knew she was nude but not showing her nudity. Just a good old fashioned good guy/bad buy movie where I left feeling good about the world again (been long time since I felt optimistic about PEOPLE, most want to blame who done them wrong while Excusing their own sht!!) Love ya girlie, kiss your cutie for me. Katy
